When Grant Morrison wrote his run of Doom Patrol, which included crazy storylines such as "The PAinting that ate Paris" and "Down PAradise way" he introduced a Character called Flex Mentallo: The Man Of Muscle Mystery.

The idea, or rather, the gimmick of the character was that he could alter reality or activate special powers such as psychic scanning by flexing different muscles. IT wasnapos;t that he was omnipotent, it as more like having ill defined powers. I mean, if the guy wanted to create a heat wave, or control the envoirment around him, heapos;d have to flex or to tense up his muscles.

However, from this character, i had an idea for my own. The Character has the powers to do whatever is humanly possible. I.e. If it is humanly possible to perform an successful open heart surgery using a Swiss army knife and a plastic coke bottle, he is able to do it.

However, this would make the character rather superhuman, so he needs limitations. As Superman cannot see through lead, and is vulnerable to kryptonite, my character needs limits in order not to make him god like with his skills.

So: What limits/weaknesses should a character who is able to do WHATEVER is humanly posssible, have? Alcoholism? Low self esteem, or should his powers manifest only when needed?

He Also needs a name. SO, if you have any ideas for a name (or for weaknesses) please donapos;t hesitate to post comments :)
